Linus
Pauling and the Twentieth Century was a traveling
exhibition celebrating the life and work of the innovative
scientist and peace activist. It was seen by more than
1 million people after opening in 1998. The exhibit
toured Europe in 2003, including dates in Geneva, Paris
and Milan. The exhibit completed its tour in 2004.
This
site, which includes a virtual tour of the exhibit,
was redesigned in 2003 after being originally posted
when the exhibit opened in San Francisco in 1998. It
was broken out of frames, better exposing it to search
engines, and was made U.S. Section 508 accessible.

is Hungry Voice business site built for real estate
agents and brokers who maintain their own websites.
It offers important information and advice regarding

for their real estate property search product. Originally
built in 2004.

is the portfolio and sales site for Jennifer Mackey,
a Humbodlt County, California artist specializing in
fabric and furniture design. Concept design by Karen
Chien; Hungry Voice completed the design and navigation
structure and built the site.

Marta
Ayala is a San Francisco Latina artist specializing
in public space murals and paintings. Her original site
was not optimized for search engines and did not allow
for any purchase of paintings. Along with the redesign,
a marketing plan and materials were created to help
the artist gain exposure, make sales and obtain commissions.

Color
& Concepts is Marta Ayala's new commercial faux
finish and indoor design studio. Due to the number of
requests for private mural commisions, Marta opened
this commercial venture in 2003. This is a simple one
page site with multiple pop-up photo slide shows of

Properties is a family owned and operated property
management firm, with numerous office and commercial
properties located throughout Northern California. Originally
built in 2001; redesigned in 2003.
